Tangerine Sorbet Champagne Floats

Liquor up your dessert.
Get the recipe from Completely Delicious.
Ingredients
  • 2½ cups (600 ml) fresh tangerine juice
  • ½ cup (125 ml) sparkling wine
  • ¾ cup (150 grams) sugar
  • Additional sparkling wine, for serving
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the sparkling wine and ½ cup of the tangerine juice. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Place the mixture in a bowl and add the remaining tangerine juice. Chill completely in the fridge.
  2. Fresh the mixture in an ice cream machine according to manufacturer's instructions. Sorbet will be soft. Place the sorbet in the freezer for several hours to firm up.
  3. To serve, scoop the sorbet into wine glasses or champagne flutes. Pour champagne over the sorbet. Serve immediately.
Notes
Note: I used Minneola Tangelos but any kind of tangerine, or any other orange citrus could be used.

How to make Cold Coffee Recipe with Icecream

Ingredients (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
          4 tbsp coffee powder
          1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
          5 tbsp hot water
          4 tbsp sugar
          3 cups milk
          few ice cubes
scoop of chocolate or any icecream of your choice (optional)
Instructions
1.        First mix coffee powder and cocoa powder if using with hot water. Boil for 2 mins until all dissolves. Add sugar and boil for a minute more until sugar dissolves.
2.        Now strain the mixture with a mesh strainer.
3.        Combine 2 tbsp of the coffee solution with milk and icecubes. Blend until all blends well.
4.        Serve cold coffee in tall glasses with a scoop of icecream of your choice.
Notes
1. If using instant expresso or coffee powder combine all in the blender. However boiling coffee gives a different impact.
2. Reserve the rest of coffee solution in fridge for making cold coffee in future.
3. I had kept serving glasses in freezer for 10 mins. Then added some hersheys chocolate sauce in each chilled glass. Just rotated the glass to make a pattern. Again put them in the fridge and put the cold coffee. This is optional.

4. If you like strong cold coffee than add more coffee solution.
