Chocolate-Whiskey Pecan Pie

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cup light corn syrup
  2. 3/4cup light brown sugar
  3. 4tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  4. 3large eggs
  5. 2tablespoons whiskey
  6. 1/4teaspoon kosher salt
  7. 2cups pecan halves
  8. 1/2cup semisweet chocolate chips
  9. 9-inch basic flaky piecrust, unbaked

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, eggs, whiskey, and salt; fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
  2. Pour mixture into the piecrust and bake until the center is set but still slightly wobbly, 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool before serving.
